Why this rock is probably not a meteorite:
This is a strange object. It has a glassy exterior that has cracked
like the glaze on an old dinner plate. It was found on an old farm
site. We are unaware of any terrestrial rocks or meteorites that
look
like this. Meteorite fusion
crusts don't crack like this.

What is it?
We don't know but we suspect that the glaze,
at least, is man-made.
