Why this rock is probably not a meteorite:
It's got a couple of big holes (gas bubbles) in it. Meteorites
don't have holes like this.

What is it?
Whatever it is, it was once molten. It was found in Baltimore. There
aren't any volcanoes in Maryland. It's magnetic. It's probably a piece
of slag or some other industrial by-product.
