Why this rock is probably not a meteorite:

...because if it looks like a vegetable, it's not a meteorite.
  
What is it?

Hard to say, but I bet it consists mainly of quartz.

Note added later: One informed viewer called this a fossil coral. We've received samples of coral in the past that people have mistaken for meteorites. Another person said that it was a quartz geode. I suspcet that's correct.
