Why this rock is probably not a meteorite:
The morphology (shape) is wrong. Although smooth in places, it doesn't
look like it was smoothed by ablation because there are still knobby
parts.
On a rock like this that has
a shiny coating, the best thing to do is
cut it
open
and
look
at
the
inside.
