A Photo Gallery of Meteorwrongs
Why this rock is probably not a meteorite:
It's
vesicular
. Although there's a glassy coating, the object appears to be glassy throughout. The glass of a meteorite
fusion crust
is very thin.
What is it?
A cinder or piece of slag?
